The Melbourne Aquarium construction works involved logistically challenging internal piling and structural works to an existing area of the Melbourne Aquarium. Structural support for a new 28,000kg sea water tank display and an associated Quarantine Approved Area for a new display area has been installed for the upgraded entertainment area of the building. Extensive out of hours works has been required to be completed to allow continual operation of the facility during peak operation times.
